the stake president hit the send button less than an hour ago. the call should come in a couple of weeks. he could go anywhere–because this is my kid who can do anything.

Maybe he’ll go to England too. My dad and his brother were mission companions in Holland and my father-in-law and his brother were companions in Peru.

Brazil Manaus, I had a brother go there and literally he would cut a trail through the jungle with a machete. It was a great adventure. Seeing your son’s blonde head standing on the top of that hill in the wilderness reminded me of my blonde headed brother’s experience. As a sister that was great…as a mom I think I would be wishing for somewhere a little more civilized.
