times i wished i’d have thought harder and longer before committing to write a blog post every day during the month of november: 17
hours after i went to sleep that i woke up: 5
that was the first time. i eventually went back to sleep—it’s saturday, after all—and got in about 60 more minutes. yay me!
minutes on the bike after i realized the reason i couldn’t sleep in was because my body thought it should be at the gym: 20
crunches done (even though my trainer says they don’t work and i should really be doing planks): 105
i hate doing planks. they totally kick my trash
times I tried to turn up my ipod even though it was already on maximum volume: 3
more rpms I can ride when the music is cranked up: 15
times my daughter mentioned the name of a certain phs football player: my lips are sealed!
loads of laundry washed, dried and folded: 4
baskets of washed, dried and folded laundry put away where it belongs: aye, there’s the rub!
boxes and bags dropped off at the local DI: 8
weeks since the kitchen floor was this clean: ?
i plead the fifth on this one.
large, fresh brown eggs gathered from the lower forty of mine own backyard: 7
bathrooms cleaned: 2
times was grateful i don’t have to clean a bigger house (with even more bathrooms): 5
times i watched this video: probably a few too many.
but i’m pretty sure it will end up being WAY less times than lambert is going to regret acting like jerk on the soccer field.
how many people it took to make dinner: 5, as in five guys.
how much i love that my husband (in addition to lots of other things he did today) built an 8×4 grow box for next spring, went and picked up dinner to go and almost always does the traditional saturday night macey’s run: infinity and beyond!
points by which the byu football team totally blew out wyoming: 55
come again? i said FIFTY-FIVE! go cougs!!
whiny fans who called in to the post-game show: dunno. i stopped counting.
put a sock in it or get out there and break a sweat if you think you can do it better.
miles i drove for just one errand–with the singular purpose of mailing my first letter to luke’s new flat in liverpool: 4.24
things i didn’t get done that were on my mental to-do list? trying not to think about it.
besides, you know me. i don’t really do “to-do” lists. i prefer to compile a “look-what-i-got-done-today!” list after the day is done.
and the day is done.

I wish my day had been that productive. I read a few pages of Othello for next week’s classes, emailed my professor the information she told us Wednesday she’d give to us Friday before canceling Friday’s class, went to the grocery store for my parents and then sat and did nothing the rest of the day.
Shhh…don’t tell.

*For the information. If I’d already had it, I wouldn’t have been emailing her.

Love this post! It was a good day for you. Thanks for the blognod on my birthday. I love you.

leah–i love othello. it’s one of my top three of the great tragedies (hamlet and king lear notwithstanding).
mel–way less calories, i’ll bet. i’m excited you’ll be posting again.

Lambert, I’ve watched that a few times and it makes my blood boil. There’s nothing I hate more than mean girls. I’m only a mean girl when provoked.

kalli–thanks for the link. and i know! her “apology” wasn’t very convincing, was it?

Love this post.
Loathe that girl. Makes my blood boil, too, I could only (barely) watch it once.

I HOPE Lambert feels like a jerk, but based on her behavior, I’m doubting it. She’ll justify it and keep on doing it unless she’s called on it and punished hard. (Was she? I hope so.) That was some video. Yowza.
